Alan Rawlings
Alan Rawlings is a guitarist who played during the British new wave era by the late 1970s and early 1980s.
By 1980, he joined Cowboys International, as Allan Rawlings, replacing Rick Jacks. He played some material which appeared in the ''Revisited'' compilation, in 2003.〔()〕 His tenure with the band was brief, being replaced by Ultravox guitarist Stevie Shears.
In 1980, he played with Pauline Murray, of punk band Penetration, playing in her Peel Sessions.〔()〕〔()〕
He was also briefly in Tutu Tango. He was in a Stock, Aitken, Waterman group called "Spelt Like This" who had hits with Stop This Rumour and Contract of the Heart.
